QUALIFICATION TO THE IFBB ELITE WORLD PROFESSIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

To qualify to the IFBB Elite World Professional Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships, a competitor will need:

  • To win his/her category at any of the IFBB Elite Pro events held this season prior to the Championships.
  • To place in the top 10 of the 2017-2018 IFBB Pro Ranking in his/her division (If any of the competitors from the top 10 already qualified as a category winner, next competitors will be qualified to the World Pro Championships).

IFBB ELITE PRO RANKING

Points for ranking at IFBB Elite Pro Events:

  • 1st Place: Qualified for World Pro Championships
  • 2nd Place: 16 points
  • 3rd Place: 12 points
  • 4th Place: 9 points
  • 5th Place: 7 points

In case that the first place is an athlete already qualified, the points shall be applied in the following manner.

  • 2nd Place: Qualified for the World Championship
  • 3nd Place: 16 points
  • 4rd Place: 12 points
  • 5th Place: 9 points
  • 6th Place: 7 points

In case the first and second athletes are already qualified for the World Championships, the points shall be applied in the following manner.

  • 3rd Place: Qualified for the World Championship
  • 4rd Place: 12 points
  • 5th Place: 9 points
  • 6th Place: 7 points

In case the 3rd athlete is qualified, fourth place won’t qualify, and the points shall be distributed in the following manner.

  • 4rd Place: 12 points
  • 5th Place: 9 points
  • 6th Place: 7 points

When an athlete that won an event and is already qualified for the World Championships and participates in other event and win the competition, the qualification rights are applied to the first one in the list that has not been qualified previously (direct qualification cannot be applicable for placements below third place)

When an athlete qualifies for the World Championships, the athlete passes to the list of qualified athletes and will be directly qualified for the World Championship
